Am sa va povestesc cateva din “aventurile” avute cu aceasta firma neserioasa de webhosting:
Dau un search pe Google, si caut si eu o firma de webhosting, ca tot omul care are nevoie de gazduire web … La un moment dat dau peste Gisol.com
Asta a fost prima greseala, din care am invatat acuma ca, niciodata nu e bine sa-ti cauti un serviciu de gazduire web direct de pe Google sau oricare alt motor de cautare. Cel mai bine este sa-ti alegi serviciul de gazduire web, de pe un site (cum este acesta de exemplu), forum sau blog unde se dezbate aceasta problema, si unde poti schimba idei cu ceilalti utilizatori ai serviciului respectiv de webhosting la care vrei sa apelezi, pentru a afla toate amanuntele, placute si neplacute, despre acel serviciu de webhosting.
Sa revin la experienta neplacuta pe care am avut-o cu cei de la Gisol.com
Comand si eu online un cont de webhosting, platesc frumos cu cardul (norocul meu), NU PRIN PayPal.
Zis si facut … Toate aceste proceduri insa dureaza aproximativ vreo 24/48 de ore, pana cand verifica plata, pana cand se activeaza contul, etc …
Dupe vreo 48 de ore, contul meu este valid, si pot intra in Panoul de Amdinistrare de la Gisol.com …
Imediat dupa ce m-am logat in Control Pannel, mi-au cerut sa specific de cat bandwith am nevoie !!! Asta, in conditiile in care, atunci cand am facut eu comanda pt cont, scria mare la ei pe site: UNLIMITED BANDWITH !!!! Avand in vedera ca, atunci cand am creeat contul, scriau ca e trafic nelimitat, am specificat si eu ca am nevoie de vreo 5 tera trafic. Nu ca as fi avut nevoie de atat, dar daca tot scria ca e UNLIMITED, am scris si eu acolo, sa fie …
Urmatoarea miscare ? Mi-au suspendat imediat contul !!!! Fara sa fac nimic altceva !!!! Am intrat pe chat suport, si i-am luat la intrebari pe cei de acolo, insa am vorbit cu ei in limita bunului simt, fara sa injur sau sa spun ceva ofensator la adresa lor … Toti cu care am vorbit de la SUPPORT CHAT, i-mi spuneau ca ei nu au cum sa ma ajute, si sa trimit email la admin@gisol.com
Tin sa va sun ca, am trimis nenumarate emailuri, timp de vreo 1 saptamana la rand, si NIMENI NU MI-A RASPUNS !!!!
Intru iar pe Chat-Support, le relatez problema respectivilor, la care aia de pe chat suport i-mi spun ca ei nu au ce face si singura solutie este sa trimit iar email la admin@gisol.com
Ulterior, nici pe Support Chat nu se mai poate intra, deoarece pentru a intra pe Support Chat trebuie sa completezi un cod de verificare, care insa nu apare pe pagina. Uitati cum arata “Support Chatul” la ei:

Le-am explicat ca am trimis cel putin vreo 10 emailuri, si nimeni nu mi-a raspuns. Degeaba …
Ei, pana la urma ma resemnez, si ma impac cu gandul ca asta e … am luat si eu o teapa de 240 de dolari … Hostingul a fost atunci in jur de 195 de dolari, si am mai comandat in plus si pachetul “promo” de inscriere in niste directoare web, deci in total a fost 240 de dolari … Bineinteles ca si pachetul cu inscrierile in vreo 400 de directoare web, era tzeapa.
Si la un moment dat, zic: “Hai sa caut eu ceva pe net despre astia ..” SI … STUPOAREEEE! Ia uitati ce gasesc:

They said there was a court order to take down gisolsucks.com as well as other anti-gisol websites. I called my ISP a few days ago and they said it wasn’t them and that if they had called the Caller ID wouldn’t have been blocked. I posted more details on my blog.

Someone just sent me a link to GISOL’s poor BBB rating page on the BBB’s website. They gave the company an “F” rating which is defined as: “We strongly question the company’s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company’s industry is known for its fraudulent business practices.”

I just received an e-mail from someone telling me about the GISOLSUCKS forum. I had tried to start one awhile ago but it never really took off so I’ll just link to this one. After numerous attempts to contact GISOL (and who I believed to be the owner of the company) I eventually got my money back. It was a huge hassle that I wouldn’t care to go through ever again. I’d hate to see other people go through it too. That’s why I decided to upload my site again… because apparently people are still getting ripped off by them. I have a lot of information online including my story, trouble tickets, 36 page letter to GISOL, company contact information (some of it was hard to find), misleading advertisements, etc. I hope you find this information useful in your fight with them. I have also decided to register the domain name GHSOLSUCKS.com so people who type that in will be able to find my site.
This website is here to warn potential customers of Global Internet Solutions, Inc. (GISOL, Inc.) what they are getting into when they buy a web hosting account there. They are also know as Global Hosting Solutions, Inc. (GHSOL, Inc.). Maybe we can even file a class action lawsuit against them if there are enough people interested.
I tried canceling my account well within the first 30 days after signing up because I realized what poor service they give you. However, they won’t give me any money back even though I paid for a whole year. I tried writing to the BBB but they haven’t responded to the complaints yet and it’s already January 12, 2004. In fact, they finally did cancel my account on January 7th but refuse to give me any money back even though I paid for a whole year. I did a search on the Internet and found a lot of similar complaints to mine and posted them on this website.
To everyone at Global Internet Solutions: Thanks for stealing my $239.40 and giving me nothing in return… except frustration of course.

As you may be aware, Gisol, Inc. is a web hosting company that has hundreds if not thousands of unhappy customers around the world. A simple web-search for “gisol fraud“, “gisol rip-off“, or simply “gisol” will return 1000’s of results. The LA BBB (Better Business Bureau) has over 400 official complaints about Gisol, many of which have been totally ignored.
This website has been set up for past, present, but hopefully not future victims of Global Internet Solutions.
It’s here so that we can help stop more innocent people being scammed by these people. I want it to be a “one-stop-shop” resource. I’ll post as many links to sites as possible, (like the FBI IC3, or the BBB) where you can report these criminals. I’ve also posted a page of review sites. Feel free to let me know of any others that I may have missed.

Do not give up the fight against the Gisol rip-off. If you keep going, you will get your money back one way or another. Si am sa va relatez pe scurt si “povestea mea” (continuare de mai sus):
… La insistentele unor prieteni, ma duc si eu la banca la care am contul, banca in cauza fiind ING Bank, si le relatez cele intamplate. Am tinut sa precizez banca, deoarece inainte am avut cateva experiente neplacute si cu bancile din Romania, unde nu de putine ori am fost tratat de catre functionarii anumitor banci, exact ca pe vremea lui Ceausescu .. Am ramas surpins de promptitudinea, serviabilitatea si seriozitatea celor de la ING-Bank !!!! Mi-au explicat frumos ca de fapt, nu e treaba lor de ce cumparaturi fac eu cu cardul pe net, dar ca vor incerca totusi sa ma ajute, adica sa ia legatura cu banca din America, cea care a incasat banii, etc … istorie lunga, si unde mai pui ca, deh … sa-i ia la rost “nesthe romani” pe ditamai americanii … Si totusi, nici nu stiu cum au abordat problema ce de la ING, chit ca, ma suna dupa vreo 2 saptamani daca bine-mi mai amintesc, s ama intrebe daca mi-au returnat banii … Ei, ce-au facut cei de la Gisol.com ? Ca sa nu-mi returneze banii, dar totusi sa nu poat fi trasi la raspundere, mi-au reactivat contul, insa in afara de un site simplu in html, nu mai puteam pune nimic pe cont, nici un site php, nici baze de date, nimic …
Asta e, am zis, tot e ceva decat nimic … Oricum platisem hostul in avans pe vreo 2 ani … Ei, respectivul site in html, un site foarte foarte simplu (nici macar nu avea mai multe pagini, decat o singura pagina, pagina index a siteului), ajunge dupa vreo 3 sau 4 luni, la 600-800 de vizitatori pe zi, si asta pt ca am pus aiurea bannere pe cateva siteuri cu trafic mare … SURPRIZA DIN NOU !!!! Iar i-mi suspenda astia contul ! Cica, folosec prea multe resurse !!! =)) … Vai de capul meu … O singura pagina pe host, respectiv index.html, cu o poza pe ea, fara nici un fel de baze de date, nimic, o simpla pagina statica scrisa in html, si cica folosec prea multe resurse …
Comentariile nu-si mai au rostul … 240 de dolari, cu cat m-au “intezepat” ei, nu este o suma colosala, insa sincer, nu pot sa ma impac cu ideea ca, am luat tzeapa de la americani, atat vreme cat, ei ne arata cu degetul pe noi, ca cica “noi suntem tzeparii, romanii”…
In concluzie totusi, NU COMANDATI DE LA EI !!!!

Exact asa am patit si eu ! Am luat teapa de la Gisol.com !!! Oare chiar nimeni nu se sesizeaza ? Ce fac organele de control din USA ? Dorm ?
Am citit pe net ca sunt in jur de 14.000 de persoane inselate de catre aceasta firma, Gisol.com. Daca faceti un calcul simplu, 14.000 de persoane x 200 de dolari rezulta 2.800.000 de dolari !!! Asta da teapa.
Pe americani nu-i inseala. Daca esti american si-ti faci cont la ei, totul este in regula, insa cum prind o persoana “din afara”, adica unul care nu este american, automat il inteapa. O sa gasiti americani care sunt multumiti de serviciile lor…. Nici cu germanii sau francezii nu prea se joaca. Insa cum “prind” vreun fraier din Europa de est, Asia, Africa, sau alte “locatii” din astea … mai putin “dezvoltate economic”, cum … poc, teapa pe fata.
STAY AWAY FROM GISOL.COM (GLOBAL INTERNET SOLUTIONS) !!! After a year of very poor hosting with Gisol, they closed my account and made my domain go into redemption. They told me I could get my domain back if I paid $42. They would also refund me $87.
THEY CHARGED MY CARD $718!!!!!! They tried higher amounts!
I have not got control of my domain as they own it and it is in redemption.
Do a web search for “Gisol Sucks” or “Gisol FRAUD”.
They have done this to 100s if not 1000s of their customers. Stay away!!!!!!
Gisol- (Global Internet Solutions Inc.) Buyer Beware. Do not sign up with this company They are criminals a 95.40 annual website cost me $1078.20 charged to my debit card I have contacted the FTC in regards to credit card fraud, The AG of California & my States AG(Pennsylvania)Also I have closed my debit card immediatly after getting this fraudulent charge on it. WARNING !!! DO NOT USE GISOL GLOBAL INTERNET SOLUTIONS !!! I have not been able to reach anyone at phone numbers or support online for over 1 week. I stupidly paid up front for 1 year. My visa account has been charged and my web site has never gone up because they post a server problem. They have never even attempted to notify me via email or a phone call. I want a refund.. This is the posting that shows up when I try to log into my control panal and has been up since 1/20/04 and is still up 1/26/04/ web8.mygisol.com: Notice to customers on server There is currently a network problem with one of our connectivity providers and as a result, the server is unreachable. We are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. There is no need to fill out a support ticket if your account is on server web8 and your site is unavailable. Stay away from gisol, they are down about 50% of the time, the SQL server has lousy security (you can erase other people’s tables really easily without knowing their password) they change the server names without telling their customers so you can’t use FTP to upload files. They’re down again (the SQL server is down) as I write this. They use different servers for the site and the SQL databases so you have twice as much chance of your site going down if its dynamic. Total rubbish.
